Jeffrey S. Oishi

I am an Assistant Professor of Physics at Farmingdale State College and a Research Associate at the American Museum of Natural History.

I do computational astrophysics and am interested the art/science interface.

Research

I work on a variety of astrophysical fluid dynamics problems, including atmospheres of exoplanets, the interiors of stars, and the formation of them both. I am a member of the Dedalus Project, a collaboration that is developing an exciting, flexible PDE solver.
